There are many people who think the Ouija Board is nothing more then a toy. A board game that allows people to have communications with the spiritual world. Not taking into consideration the risks they are placing themselves in.
There are several versions of the game, some leading to causing the player harm or misfortune. Because the Ouija says yes…
There is a warning on every version that the game should not be played and yet players decide to ignore the warnings in pursuit of channeling the spiritual realm.
There are different versions of the spirit board. I will describe the history of the games, but I won’t reveal how the games are played. As an empath and a person connected to the spiritual world, I know better than to mess with any type of spirits. Playing these games opens you up to hauntings and harm.
Ouija or its other name, the spirit board, is a game people play to ask the spiritual world questions. The board allows people to hold a conversation with the other, side though most of the spirits summoned by the board are evil in nature.
There is a theory that holding the planchette up to your eye allows you to see into the spiritual plane. The planchette is the pointer used on the board for the spirit to guide the person to the answer through the alphabet or numerals.
Types of Ouija Boards
This is a unique way to prove that spirits are real. A person playing the game asks three questions at the same time. The concept is like that of passing notes in class. The difference is that sometimes spirits may have violent answers or will use physical force to answer the players questions.
This is a game that is frightening because there is no clear way to leave the game without the ghost being angered or clinging to you after the game is over. The concept is like playing the game twenty questions, but with a spirit instead of a person. You can only ask questions to get a yes or no answer.
This one is the Japanese version of the Ouija board. The game is played with a coin which must be spent within the next twenty-four hours after playing the game. Unlike the Ouija board with evil spirit in the States, this evil entity in Japan is a trickster.
The game was highly popular with school children but had to be banned due to the side effects of depression. The game is connected to the Suicide Forests, which is a haunted forest where over a hundred deaths occur each year.
Fascination with Ouija Boards
Many people will try these games despite the warnings that are written on the labels. Many participate wanting to be given proof that there are spirits in this world. And there are many sceptics who think that these boards are pranks played on them by other people in the room.
I became more informed by watching a YouTube channel where a man was testing out different spiritual games. His reasoning for the site was to go through the games so that people’s curiosity can be fulfilled while being safe.
He not only tries the games but also does videos where he breaks the rules of the game as well to show the negative side-effects of when the games go wrong.
There Are No Rules
Furthermore, it’s clear that regardless of which version of the game is played, there will always be a fascination with the concept that there are ways to contact the spirit world. Despite the dangers, there is no stopping people from playing these games.
The best we can hope for is to give advice and warnings to those crazy enough to play these games. The spirit world does exist and opening a gateway through paper or types of board does not guarantee that it will close once you decide the game comes to an end or that the spirits that come to visit will be of friendly kind.
Now, shush, I’m trying to read.
